Little Old Men In Their Little Sports Cars

I’m sorry but I think there is nothing as silly looking as an old man driving a sports car.  The weather was wonderful today, and while I was driving home from running errands I saw an old man driving a convertible sports car with the top down.  I wanted to shout at him “You look so silly, old man!”

But, that would be very rude of me!  So I just shook my head and kept quiet!

Whenever I see an old man driving a sports car like that, it makes me think that he is trying desperately to feel young and sexy once again.  I guess there is nothing wrong with that, but I think it makes them look desperate and sad.  Like old women in mini-skirts and plunging necklines look desperate and sad!

Mens Jeans For His Birthday

My Dad’s birthday is coming up in the beginning of November and I can’t seem to get any gift ideas or suggestions out of him this year. He is always the hardest person to buy things for and I always struggle to find the perfect gift to give him on Father’s Day, Christmas and his birthday. And with Christmas looming right ahead it seems like I’ll be in this pickle over and over again, sigh…

The only thing that I know that he could use right now are some new mens jeans, so I have been taking a look online to see if I can find some that he might wear and not keep in the bottom of his pants drawer for ever, untouched and then thrown or given away after he tires of dealing with them taking up space in his chest of drawers. A lot of clothing that he receives as presents end up that way and it just irks us all to no end. So wish me luck in finding the perfect pair of mens jeans for him and that I can find the best deal possible on them via the Internet.

Cut & Paste

I try not to cut and paste things off of the Internet to place here on my blog. From what I understand, Google has an issue with that and the good lord knows I don’t want to piss Google off, with as much power as they hold over us. Man the last Google “sweep” hurt me big time, I still don’t understand any of that nonsense although My sister has explained it to me a few times, it’s just one of those things that I’m not grasping well.

Anyway my best friend, who recently became a grandmother for the first time, sent me this wonderful Grandma joke that actually made me laugh, wish more of the jokes that were sent to me were even half this funny.

Grandmas

I was out walking with my grandson. He picked up something off of the ground and started to put it in his mouth. I took the item away from him and I asked him not to do that. ‘Why’ my grandson asked. “Because it’s been on the ground; you don’t know where it’s been, it’s dirty, and probably has germs,” I replied. At this point, my grandson looked at me with total admiration and asked, “Grandma, how do you know all this stuff?? You are so smart.” I was thinking quickly and said to him, “all grandmas know stuff. It’s on the grandma test. You have to know it, or they don’t let you be a grandma.” We walked along in silence for 2 or 3 minutes, but he was evidently pondering this new information. “Oh….I get it! he beamed, so if you don’t pass the test you have to be the grandpa”. ‘Exactly,’ I replied with a big smile on my face.

Family Feud Blooper

My all time favorite TV game show blooper goes to the lady who was given the question that was asked 100 men – “What body part is bigger now then it was when you were 16?”  She didn’t seem to even think twice before blurting out “Penis!”  Steve Harvey, who is the current host of this long time, long running TV game show, looked like he was going to pass out and for the first time, was speechless, the look on his face was priceless. It’s just too bad that no one who participated in this survey gave the same answer, because I would have loved to seen her win with that answer, she would have deserved it as far as I’m concerned.

Most Macho Men on TV

Published by under Entertainment,Men/Male

As much as I dislike war and wish we didn’t need the armed forces at all, I realize that we do need to have a strong military to defend our country and to help other deserving nations when they are in trouble.

I don’t know anyone actually in the military, although my cousin’s husband was in the Army for about 10 years. He has been out of the Army for a long time and is working with a Government contractor now as a civilian.

So I don’t know why I like to watch The Unit on TV because I really don’t like war type of shows, but I have to say that the men in that show are the most macho, sexy, capable men I have ever seen and I hope there are hundreds of thousands of little boys who watch this show and realize what wonder role models these men are.
