Glass Tiles

My sister had sent me an email telling me to look at a website called glasstilestore.com where you can find glass tile, marble tile, and stone mosaics of any kind. They carry tile for your walls, kitchen backsplash, bathroom, floor and much more. Tiles are at below wholesale prices & in stock for shipping to all states. My absolute favorite is the Woodland Blend marble mosaic tile because it not only has a twist of funk to it for my kitchen but it also adds a classy look inside of my home.

They have all sorts of fabulous styles for all your needs around the house even outside your home, like your swimming pool. This website helps your create a totally new comforting feeling when you walk inside your home, and your guests will absolutely love it too. Take a look and see what they can offer you as well, make your house feel more like home.

Wet Basement Issues Addressed

Fix the wet basement and have it waterproofed, these are my latest chores to be addressed, and ones that I have not looked forward to starting, but has become necessary, I can only hope that I haven’t waited too long. When I can’t come up with someone that I know or am related to, to give my business to, it has become useful to use the Internet to find what you are looking for, which in this case it did provide me with a company with a web site of b-dry.com that looks promising.

They have been in business since 1958, that is half of a decade, a good long time to be in business. An interesting tool is on their website, a tab labeled WET BASEMENT ANALYZER TOOL, which takes you to a page where you click on whatever your issue is and it tells you what could be the cause of your leaking basement might be, which I gave a try and it pretty much confirms what I believe to be the case in our wetness issues.

I have filled out the request for a Free Estimate and hope to hear from someone tomorrow, would like to go ahead and get this ball rolling.

Oh Baby it’s Cold Outside

The snow is bad enough, but the wind is totally out of control today. I’ve had to go outside numerous times so far today to retrieve several things that have been blown out of their proper place. So far, two box tops, one trash can, one lawn chair and just now I picked up several plastic trash can liners that blew in from somewhere in the neighborhood along with some other trashy items. The wind about blew me away, and I had to come running inside quickly and calm myself down a bit.

It will be a good day to stay by the blazing fireplace that I just started a nice fire in and watch all the football games that are being aired today. I have a good sized flat screen T.V. that makes watching the games so much more enjoyable.

What a cold and nasty Sunday, and the bad news is that tomorrow is supposed to be worse, oh what a wonderful Monday that will be.

December 1st

Today is December 1st, the beginning of the the last month of the year 2008. The first of the month always brings the task of paying the majority of the house hold monthly bills for me and what a bummer it is this last month of the year to see what little is left to use for buying the Christmas gifts that we find are so necessary to give each and every year.

I didn’t brave the Black Friday shopping frenzy, that isn’t something that I’m into at all. Just thinking about the whole horrible process involved in that event makes my stomach uneasy and gives me a head ache.

This year, now that I know how much I have to play with, most of my shopping will be done online. This is something that a good amount of people are doing and I intend to be one of the statistics for this year. No crowds, no parking issues, no rude sale associates, no lines, no freezing my buns off outside and sweating to death inside all the stores and no holiday music being drummed into my head that is being played in every store in the country.

Scotch Tape

Published by Cheryl under House & Home

I bet almost every American household has at least one roll of scotch tape in their house and almost anyone with an office has a rol in their desk, too. This is a fixture in our daily lives and is such a convenience. Would you believe that Scotch tape was invented in my mother’s generation? Back in the days it was called cellophane tape. I found the 3M web site that explains the whole history behind scotch tape. I thought it was really interesting to learn how it evolved and was advertised over the years.
