The topic of conversation at the bar last night was all about best hair loss solutions available today for both men and women alike. It must really suck dealing with hair loss as a man, but a woman – I can’t even begin to imagine how that would feel like to face and deal with. I do think that women have a better option with wigs that are available, hair pieces for men haven’t had the best reputation through out the years. I can usually spot a hair piece on a man, but it is much harder to tell if a woman has a wig on, usually.
Of course there are numerous products on the market that have been proven to help with hair loss that were discussed as well. Your doctor should be able to discuss these options and of course the Internet is a great resource to use in order to find information on these products.

I’m so sick of drinking soda and iced tea, so I picked up a few packets of one of my favorite drinks as a kid, Black Cherry Kool Aid and I’m thrilled to have something different to drink on these hot summer days. Kool Aid, Kool Aid, Tastes Great, Wish We Had Some, Can’t Wait!
A neat trick that I learned as a kid is to fill an ice cube tray with the Kool Aid flavor that you have just made and use them instead of the plain water that we are accustomed to using. That way the Kool Aid doesn’t get watered down. This is important for me because I like my Kool Aid strong, so strong that I actually use 1 1/2 packets to make my 1/2 gallon jug of Cherry flavored Kool Aid, I can’t stand a weak glass of any iced drink.

Well it looks like our small town is going through some growing pains. For a town this size we really should have a lot more to offer than we do, especially for our teenagers. This really has always been a problem any place that I’ve lived, so I’m assuming that it is an issue just about everywhere. When our middle and high kids get out of school, there just isn’t a whole lot for them to do. Many of these kids don’t have a parent at home to look after them and that is where the trouble starts.
Last night I went to the movies with a friend and we were totally surprised to find that our movie theater management had decided to put up some of those real nice looking velvet rope and metal stanchions that you see at the fancy movie theater’s and museums in the big city that they are all known for using for their crowd control issues. These barricades look so funny in our old one horse town movie theater, but I guess the kids are starting to get rowdy and they can’t tolerate that there or they will loose what little adult business that they manage to attract. A lot of folks are heading to the surrounding towns for their entertainment and they are feeling the crunch as much as anyone is these days, so I hope that this additional cost that they had to shell out works in there favor. I would hate not to be able to stay here in town to see a good movie now and then.

I can’t believe that the owner of the restaurant and bar that I tend the bar at has, at the last minute decided to have their doors open and welcoming for the day of Thanksgiving. After finding that most of his employees don’t have immediate family members to celebrate the holiday with, he made his decision based on employee availability. He has been asked numerous times by the “regulars” if he would consider this possibility and he grabbed the bait and definitely ran with it. Just wish he had not waited until the last minute.
So the bad news is that I have to tend bar that day. A bar and restaurant filled with all of the other “loners” in the county will certainly be an interesting shift, they better not be stingy with their wallets, due to their loneliness and depression that is known to hit people harder during the family oriented holiday season.
The good news is that we are promised to be paid overtime for the inconvenience and all of our efforts in making this as pleasant as we possibly can.
