Blogging for $$$

Been hearing some things lately about folks who are writing their blogs and getting paid for it on the Internet, so I thought that I would ask around a bit and take a look online to see what all the talk is about.I was surprised to see how many companies are listed that advertise a way to make money by blogging and having advertisers pay them to mention their company, product, services, what ever it is that they want you to talk about in your postings. There are so many, but I did take a look at several of them and the one that stands out in my mind is the one called BloggerWave.

Glass Tiles

My sister had sent me an email telling me to look at a website called glasstilestore.com where you can find glass tile, marble tile, and stone mosaics of any kind. They carry tile for your walls, kitchen backsplash, bathroom, floor and much more. Tiles are at below wholesale prices & in stock for shipping to all states. My absolute favorite is the Woodland Blend marble mosaic tile because it not only has a twist of funk to it for my kitchen but it also adds a classy look inside of my home.

They have all sorts of fabulous styles for all your needs around the house even outside your home, like your swimming pool. This website helps your create a totally new comforting feeling when you walk inside your home, and your guests will absolutely love it too. Take a look and see what they can offer you as well, make your house feel more like home.

Frogs are every where

Years ago I must have expressed out loud in front of someone, somewhere, something about the cuteness of a frog lawn ornament, that had caught my eye, for some reason. I didn’t even buy the frog, but some how that was to be the start of the many, many frogs that have now seemingly taken over my house and lawn. Word got out and frogs are a constant, but welcomed gesture from folks, as a gift, a token, a present, a tip (after all, I am a bar tender, and we receive quite a variety of tips now and then) from virtually everywhere from all types of people that I have/had a relationship with over the years. I must have a frog made out of any and every type of material that is known to man, in all kinds of sizes, and stances.

For Christmas I was given a frog aquarium kit, which requires a check to be sent in with the order for the frogs to come in the mail, or I could go down to one of the many pet stores that have popped up all over the place in the past few years. I’m sure at least one will have baby frogs for sale, it seems like the more humane way to receive new members of the family. But going to the pet stores, any of them like PetCo, Puppy Palace, and Petsmart always leaves me with me wallet emptied out and my heart broken from not being able to take home more of the critters that are all there, just waiting for a home, and knowing that their chances of being purchased and treated adequately highly reduces most of their survival rates.

One of the places that I try not to go in to are the A.S.P.C.A. and Animal Shelters, I have never left one yet with out crying like a baby and feeling like a piece of scum, and dirty. Not something that I enjoy or look forward to doing, ever.

An Awkward Moment

I was at work when I accidentally knocked over my picture of my parents. Well as I went to bend over to pick it up my pants ripped in the rear end in front of my boss! How embarrassing is that! Thank goodness that I was near a shopping mall so I could go over and pick out a new pair of pants for the rest of the day at work. My boss being the sweetheart that she is, let me take off work for an hour to go buy a pair. I was relieved when I found a pair within the first 5 minutes of being there so I didn’t have to walk around with a hole in my rear.

Networking Online

I came across a site the other evening while surfing the net, it’s at thecouplespot.com. Now it’s not that I am into meeting people online, I’ve never even been into a chat room, but I somehow ended up there and what caught my eye was the way they advertise as a great way to meet people, couples actually, (even families, with similar interests, from all over the world and they have a link designed with military couples in mind. I think that it is a cool idea and I can see where there is a need for those amongst us with similar tastes and practices in lifestyles to be able to reach out and share what they have in common with others.

Of course it is always a lot more fun to be able to do things with those who like to do the same things. If you’ve a family, then you’ll want to know of those who have families as well and know what its like. Or if you’re about to move it’d be nice to know there are those in the area that could ease your transition, help with schools, churches or whatever. And besides, it’s even a great tool for doing a little networking and actually putting yourself out there and becoming known!
