I’m finding out more and more with this new WordPress update 2.7, but I really do hate that feeling of being a “newbie” all over again. It must be with all of the holiday chaos and stress that is making me a bit anxious, but I am trying and it does have some interesting features that I have stumbled across. Trial and Error, that is the way this is working out, as so much does when dealing with computers and all the other technology that I’m surrounded by on a daily basis!

I haven’t had a lot of time to post much, much less explore and learn all the new things that I need to know to successfully maneuver around here with ease. With New Year’s right around the corner and my hectic work schedule I am getting burned out and ready for all this holiday craziness over and done with.

I have seen and heard that there is now an online game that allows you to throw shoes at George Bush, much like the real incident that just recently happened and in which the media is feasting upon as much as possible.  I haven’t even looked for the game, I mean it’s funny and all but I have better things to do with my time, computer based games just aren’t my cup of tea.

I was brave just now and downloaded the new WordPress upgrade to the 2.7 version and here I am, wow this is pretty cool. I have been told that this updated version was hitting the stands and at first was a bit uncomfortable with the idea of something that has been noted as a pretty drastic change, but I’m proud that I went ahead and dove in, head first as they say.

Now for the real swimming lessons. I’m a pretty decent and competent swimmer, a good thing that I excel at treading water, ha ha!

Live and Learn

I spend a good amount of time outside during the winter months, I have always been the outdoor type of person and having outside fun all year round is just a part of me that takes over. I do notice that I have been having a harder time keeping my feet and hands warm during the winter and have decided to go online and see what there is to offer in the way of heated socks. 

I was surprised to find so many different types and brands and prices that I found, making a decision is becoming a pain in the rear. Some times having a larger selection to choose from overwhelms me and I find that I can’t make a decision and it pisses me off.  So I’ve decided to book mark the sites and go back to it at a later date, just not too much later. Winter is rearing it’s ugly head all ready and the good times are waiting right out side my door, there are pirating adventures just ahead!

The snow is bad enough, but the wind is totally out of control today. I’ve had to go outside numerous times so far today to retrieve several things that have been blown out of their proper place. So far, two box tops, one trash can, one lawn chair and just now I picked up several plastic trash can liners that blew in from somewhere in the neighborhood along with some other trashy items. The wind about blew me away, and I had to come running inside quickly and calm myself down a bit.

It will be a good day to stay by the blazing fireplace that I just started a nice fire in and watch all the football games that are being aired today. I have a good sized flat screen T.V. that makes watching the games so much more enjoyable.

What a cold and nasty Sunday, and the bad news is that tomorrow is supposed to be worse, oh what a wonderful Monday that will be.
