Foreclosures are everywhere you look

I’m sick of reading about the wave of foreclosures as the greedy mortgage companies move in for the kill and take back all these houses that were financed with sub prime loans. There are some simple solutions to the major problem, but the government moves so slowly and is so distracted by special interest groups and lobbyists that help from the government is a very long way off, if it ever happens for the distressed homeowner at all.

If the federal government can’t step up and fix this problem, then the states need to get busy and intervene. The focus should be on helping the homeowners stay in their homes. It should not be focused on helping the mortgage companies. It’s in my opinion, that the mortgage companies are the criminals and should be punished, not rewarded. What do you think?
